Facing the Mountain is a Soto Zen Buddhist community in Reno practising in the lineage of Shunryu Suzuki Roshi. It meets every Tuesday evening at Dharmakaya Buddhist Center for zazen, walking meditation, chanting and a dharma talk, and holds a Beginner's Night on the first Monday of each month. It also runs study groups, ceremonies, day sittings and residential retreats in the mountains and at Lake Tahoe.
