King County Sexual Assault Resource Center (KCSARC) is an independent nonprofit serving all of King County, Washington. It first opened in 1976 as King County Rape Relief and later expanded to serve children and youth, who now make up about half of its clients. KCSARC offers a 24/7 resource line, legal and medical advocacy, family services, and trauma-focused therapy using researched PTSD treatments such as TF-CBT, Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Processing Therapy. All direct services are available in English and Spanish through its Dando Voz program, prevention education runs in schools and communities, and cost is never a barrier to any service.
