Mosaic Georgia is a Lawrenceville nonprofit that began in 1986 as Gwinnett Rape Crisis, the county's first rape crisis center, offering a crisis line and support during forensic exams. Today it is a combined sexual assault center and children's advocacy center serving Gwinnett, Rockdale and surrounding metro Atlanta counties. All services are free and confidential: a 24/7 crisis line, advocacy for survivors of any age and gender whether or not they report, forensic interviews for children, medical forensic exams by on-staff nurse examiners at its own facility, free civil legal help such as protective orders, and trauma-focused individual and group therapy for survivors ages 4 and up and their caregivers, in English and Spanish.
