Options Domestic & Sexual Violence Services is a nonprofit started in 1983 by individuals from Hays and Fort Hays State University to serve victims of domestic and sexual violence in rural western Kansas. It now covers 18 counties in Northwest Kansas with free, confidential and voluntary services. Core services include a 24-hour helpline, crisis intervention, medical and law enforcement advocacy and safe shelter, alongside counseling, support groups and court advocacy.
