Sacramento Insight Meditation offers community, programs and support for people practicing meditation in the Insight (vipassana) tradition in the greater Sacramento area. It meets every Thursday evening for a sitting and a dharma talk, holds monthly Saturday daylong retreats with meditation instruction and discussion, and runs faculty-led courses and study groups, in person and online. Most programs are offered on a donation basis, Thursday sittings are free, and no one is turned away for lack of funds.
