Sexual Assault Support Services (SASS) is a nonprofit serving survivors of sexual violence and their partners, families and friends in Eugene-Springfield and across Lane County, Oregon. Its advocates listen, believe, accompany survivors and offer peer counseling, information and referrals, whether the assault was recent or in the past. SASS runs a 24-hour crisis and support line, a weekday text and web chatline, medical and legal advocacy, support groups and workshops, and Latine community resources, along with community outreach and education. Services are free and confidential, available whether or not a survivor reports to police, and SASS advocates are not affiliated with law enforcement.
