The Blue Bench

The Blue Bench, formerly known as RAAP, describes itself as metro Denver's only comprehensive sexual assault prevention and survivor support center. Since its founding in 1983 it has worked to end sexual assault and lessen its impact on survivors, their loved ones and the community. It offers low- to no-cost services including a 24-hour hotline and online chatline, hospital advocates, individual and group therapy, and case management for survivors aged 13 and older, all in English and Spanish. It says it is the only agency in Denver that does not require survivors to engage with the criminal justice system to get support. It serves nine metro Denver counties and also runs evidence-based prevention and community education programs. The name comes from the idea that on a bench you don't sit alone.
