My Coaching Approach Money is a tool to live well today while building security for tomorrow—not a source of shame or constant optimization. Every relationship starts with your full picture: your income, obligations, and real-life goals. I don't hand you a template and walk away. We build a practical, personalized plan together, and I stay in your corner—adjusting when life changes and providing non-judgmental accountability. Whatever brought you here, we start from where you actually are. Experience & Background I bring 8+ years of professional financial services experience across Canada and the UK, specializing in wealth management, pensions, and taxation. Beyond my credentials, I bring lived experience: navigating two distinct financial systems as an immigrant and building genuine financial security on a modest income without a high salary. As the founder of Financial First Steps, I offer practical, human financial guidance for clients across Canada. Who I Help I specialize in clients whose finances don't fit standard templates: Newcomers to Canada: Building credit, understanding TFSAs/RRSPs, managing cross-border currency, and establishing financial roots. Digital Nomads & Location-Independent Pros: Navigating multi-currency accounts, foreign income, and shifting tax residency. Self-Employed & Small Business Owners: Separating business/personal cash flow, managing irregular income, and handling tax planning. Young Professionals: Overcoming debt, starting to invest, and creating a realistic roadmap that fits actual life. Complex Financial Households: Managing multi-currency assets, blended family finances, or multiple income streams. The Common Goal: Moving from being informed about your money to feeling genuinely in control of it.
