The Coaching Philosophy of Alena Porter

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Alena Porter belongs firmly in the second category. Working across domestic violence / ipv support, Alena Porter has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Knoxville, TN, Alena Porter's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Alena Porter is a licensed professional counselor listed on TrueCoach under Domestic violence / IPV support, based in Knoxville, TN. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists domestic abuse among the issues they work with. From their profile: "Sex is a normal, healthy part of human existence yet many people experience problems with sex including pain, lack of desire/arousal, sexual aversion, or an inability to reach orgasm believe it or not therapy can help with all of that." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Alena Porter apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Alena Porter's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
