The Coaching Philosophy of Amanda Whitehurst

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Amanda Whitehurst belongs firmly in the second category. Working across coercive control support, Amanda Whitehurst has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Nashville, TN, Amanda Whitehurst's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Amanda Whitehurst is a clinical social work/therapist listed on TrueCoach under Coercive control support, based in Nashville, TN. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists domestic abuse among the issues they work with. From their profile: "You’ve survived deep wounds: abuse that has shaped how you see yourself, your relationships, and the world." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Amanda Whitehurst apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Amanda Whitehurst's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
