The Coaching Philosophy of Brian Gordon Miller

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Brian Gordon Miller belongs firmly in the second category. Working across spiritual coaching, Brian Gordon Miller has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Philadelphia, PA, Brian Gordon Miller's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Brian Gordon Miller is a marriage & family therapist listed on TrueCoach under Spiritual coaching, based in Philadelphia, PA. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists spirituality among the issues they work with. From their profile: "The great 13th Century Zen Teacher Dogen Zenji wrote, “If you fall on the ground, stand up by the ground.” Though it is our problems that bring us into therapy, it is these same problems that end up providing the path for us to live richer, fuller, and more engaged lives." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Brian Gordon Miller apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Brian Gordon Miller's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
