The Coaching Philosophy of Carolyn Dower

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Carolyn Dower belongs firmly in the second category. Working across spiritual coaching, Carolyn Dower has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Tampa, FL, Carolyn Dower's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Carolyn Dower is a clinical social work/therapist listed on TrueCoach under Spiritual coaching, based in Tampa, FL. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists spirituality among the issues they work with. From their profile: "Hi, I'm Carolyn Dower, LCSW, LISW with 36 years experience working with adults, teens, and couples to find inner peace, better health, happier relationships, and more fulfilling work." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Carolyn Dower apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Carolyn Dower's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
