The Coaching Philosophy of Cary Shepard

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Cary Shepard belongs firmly in the second category. Working across parenting neurodivergent children, Cary Shepard has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Chicago, IL, Cary Shepard's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Cary Shepard is a licensed clinical professional counselor listed on TrueCoach under Parenting neurodivergent children, based in Chicago, IL. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists adhd among the issues they work with. From their profile: "If you are someone who finds yourself in the grip of anxiety, grief, depression, or any other symptom or trait that makes it hard to function in this world, I would be honored to work with you." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Cary Shepard apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Cary Shepard's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
