The Coaching Philosophy of Charity J Benham

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Charity J Benham belongs firmly in the second category. Working across parenting neurodivergent children, Charity J Benham has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Portland, OR, Charity J Benham's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Charity J Benham is a psychologist listed on TrueCoach under Parenting neurodivergent children, based in Portland, OR. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists adhd among the issues they work with. From their profile: "I find human beings and their unique experiences fascinating, and see each of us as beings trying our best to navigate our life experiences in the best way we possibly can." What sets Charity J Benham apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Charity J Benham's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
