The Coaching Philosophy of Charles Austin

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Charles Austin belongs firmly in the second category. Working across substance-use recovery support, Charles Austin has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Santa Fe, NM, Charles Austin's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Charles Austin is a clinical social work/therapist listed on TrueCoach under Substance-use recovery support, based in Santa Fe, NM. From their profile: "As a recovering alcoholic and drug addict with 39 years of recovery, I enjoy working with other recovering individuals." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Charles Austin apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Charles Austin's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change.
