The Coaching Philosophy of Deborah Stokes Sharp

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Deborah Stokes Sharp belongs firmly in the second category. Working across chronic illness adjustment, Deborah Stokes Sharp has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Austin, TX, Deborah Stokes Sharp's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Deborah Stokes Sharp is a clinical social work/therapist listed on TrueCoach under Chronic illness adjustment, based in Austin, TX. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists chronic illness among the issues they work with. What sets Deborah Stokes Sharp apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Deborah Stokes Sharp's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change.
