The Coaching Philosophy of Doris Bartel-Vanderhyde

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Doris Bartel-Vanderhyde belongs firmly in the second category. Working across complex trauma support, Doris Bartel-Vanderhyde has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Clinical Social Work/Therapist, Seattle, Doris Bartel-Vanderhyde's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Doris Bartel-Vanderhyde is a LICSW listed on TrueCoach under Complex trauma support, based in Clinical Social Work/Therapist, Seattle. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists dissociative among the issues they work with. From their profile: "It takes strength and courage to face your problems head on yet, if we don't we will only continue to live in doubt of ourselves and the world around us." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Doris Bartel-Vanderhyde apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Doris Bartel-Vanderhyde's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
