The Coaching Philosophy of Doyen Consulting Group

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Doyen Consulting Group belongs firmly in the second category. Working across alcohol recovery support, Doyen Consulting Group has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Portland, OR, Doyen Consulting Group's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Doyen Consulting Group is a drug & alcohol counselor listed on TrueCoach under Alcohol recovery support, based in Portland, OR. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists alcohol use among the issues they work with. From their profile: "Doyen Consulting Group helps families and individuals – parents, partners, and loved ones – who feel like they've tried everything — navigate every stage of addiction, substance use, and mental health challenges through an inclusive, family systems-based approach rooted in the CRAFT model." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Doyen Consulting Group apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Doyen Consulting Group's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
