The Coaching Philosophy of Eleanor Nottingham

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Eleanor Nottingham belongs firmly in the second category. Working across emotional & psychological abuse recovery, Eleanor Nottingham has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Nashville, TN, Eleanor Nottingham's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Eleanor Nottingham is a marriage & family therapist associate listed on TrueCoach under Emotional & psychological abuse recovery, based in Nashville, TN. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists emotional abuse among the issues they work with. From their profile: "It’s exhausting to constantly second-guess yourself, tiptoe around someone you care about, or question whether your feelings are valid." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Eleanor Nottingham apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Eleanor Nottingham's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
