The Coaching Philosophy of Ellen Johnson

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Ellen Johnson belongs firmly in the second category. Working across sex / intimacy, Ellen Johnson has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Austin, TX, Ellen Johnson's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Ellen Johnson is a licensed professional counselor listed on TrueCoach under Sex / Intimacy, based in Austin, TX. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists sex therapy among the issues they work with. From their profile: "If you're navigating intimacy struggles, a strained marriage, or the weight of past trauma, I help you do focused, goal-oriented work — not "forever therapy." I'm Ellen, an LPC specializing in sex therapy, anxiety, work stress, familial relationship stress, couples counseling, and trauma treatment with EMDR." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Ellen Johnson apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Ellen Johnson's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
