The Coaching Philosophy of Erica Fortescue

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Erica Fortescue belongs firmly in the second category. Working across study skills & academic coaching, Erica Fortescue has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Corte Madera, CA, Erica Fortescue's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Erica Fortescue is listed in the ADHD Coaches Organization directory as an ADHD coach with an academic and study skills focus. In their own words: "I coach adults and executives to understand their unique brains, improve their executive functioning, and accomplish their goals. My clients are highly creative, talented people navigating life transitions such as attending college, becoming a parent, launching companies, or advancing to a C-level position." See their directory profile for current availability.

What sets Erica Fortescue apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Erica Fortescue's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
