The Coaching Philosophy of Harlan Matusow

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Harlan Matusow belongs firmly in the second category. Working across addiction recovery coaching, Harlan Matusow has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in LP, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Harlan Matusow's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Harlan Matusow is a phd listed on TrueCoach under Addiction recovery coaching, based in LP, Licensed Psychoanalyst. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists addiction among the issues they work with. From their profile: "I work with individuals, couples, and families who are trying to cope with their own or a loved one's behavioral or chemical addiction, relationship challenges, work issues, or life decisions." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Harlan Matusow apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Harlan Matusow's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
