The Coaching Philosophy of Kimberly Gerst

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Kimberly Gerst belongs firmly in the second category. Working across relationship safety & boundaries, Kimberly Gerst has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Seattle, WA, Kimberly Gerst's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Kimberly Gerst is a clinical social work/therapist listed on TrueCoach under Relationship safety & boundaries, based in Seattle, WA. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists codependency among the issues they work with. From their profile: "My experience has equipped me to work with clients with a wide range of issues including trauma, grief, loss, divorce, recovery and healing from emotional abuse, narcissistic abuse, marital and relationship issues, struggles with self-esteem, family of origin issues, anxiety, depression, attachment issues and those experiencing major life changes." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Kimberly Gerst apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Kimberly Gerst's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
