The Coaching Philosophy of Krista Schaefer

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Krista Schaefer belongs firmly in the second category. Working across addiction recovery coaching, Krista Schaefer has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Hopkins, MN, Krista Schaefer's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Krista Schaefer is a marriage & family therapist listed on TrueCoach under Addiction recovery coaching, based in Hopkins, MN. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists addiction among the issues they work with. From their profile: "Are you considering making a change to your substance use or problem behavior?." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Krista Schaefer apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Krista Schaefer's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
