The Coaching Philosophy of Lauren Dummit

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Lauren Dummit belongs firmly in the second category. Working across family support around addiction, Lauren Dummit has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Nashville, TN, Lauren Dummit's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Lauren Dummit is a marriage & family therapist listed on TrueCoach under Family support around addiction, based in Nashville, TN. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists codependency among the issues they work with. From their profile: "Are you feeling stuck in toxic patterns, overwhelmed by symptoms of unresolved trauma or addiction, or struggling with intimacy issues?." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Lauren Dummit apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Lauren Dummit's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
