The Coaching Philosophy of Lisa Balick

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Lisa Balick belongs firmly in the second category. Working across eating disorder recovery support, Lisa Balick has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Houston, TX, Lisa Balick's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Lisa Balick is a psychologist listed on TrueCoach under Eating disorder recovery support, based in Houston, TX. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists eating disorders among the issues they work with. From their profile: "I am a clinical psychologist in private practice, a Clinical Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, and have a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Preventive Medicine." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Lisa Balick apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Lisa Balick's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
