The Coaching Philosophy of Mary Ann Perfitt-Nelson

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Mary Ann Perfitt-Nelson belongs firmly in the second category. Working across study skills & academic coaching, Mary Ann Perfitt-Nelson has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Beverly Hills, MI, Mary Ann Perfitt-Nelson's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Mary Ann Perfitt-Nelson is listed in the ADHD Coaches Organization directory as an ADHD coach with an academic and study skills focus. In their own words: "I know ADHD intimately as my late diagnosis came soon after my child's several decades ago. I understand how people w/ADHD think, live, and what they need to flourish." See their directory profile for current availability.

What sets Mary Ann Perfitt-Nelson apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Mary Ann Perfitt-Nelson's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
