The Coaching Philosophy of Shana Avery

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Shana Avery belongs firmly in the second category. Working across sex / intimacy, Shana Avery has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in Individual & Couples Therapy, Marriage & Family Therapist, Shana Avery's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Shana Avery is a LMFT listed on TrueCoach under Sex / Intimacy, based in Individual & Couples Therapy, Marriage & Family Therapist. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists sex therapy among the issues they work with. From their profile: "I work with both individuals and couples who are longing for deeper connection, healing, and understanding." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Shana Avery apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Shana Avery's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
