The Coaching Philosophy of Vangie Akridge

There are coaches who teach techniques — and then there are coaches who change how you see yourself. Vangie Akridge belongs firmly in the second category. Working across learning differences support, Vangie Akridge has spent years refining an approach that goes deeper than surface-level goal-setting and accountability.

Based in San Diego, CA, Vangie Akridge's reach extends far beyond geography. Clients come from across the world — some in crisis, some simply hungry for more — and what they find is a coaching experience built around truth, not comfort.

Vangie Akridge is a licensed educational psychologist listed on TrueCoach under Learning differences support, based in San Diego, CA. Their verified Psychology Today profile lists learning disabilit among the issues they work with. From their profile: "Being a teenager can be hard and being a parent of a teenager can be challenging." See their directory profile for current availability, fees and insurance.

What sets Vangie Akridge apart is not just the results — it is the method. Rather than handing clients a formula, the work begins with a fundamental question: what do you actually want, and what is standing in your way? The answers are rarely what people expect.

The coaching world has no shortage of voices promising transformation. But Vangie Akridge's body of work — built over years of practice, research, and relentless iteration — represents something rarer: a genuine framework that produces measurable, lasting change. For clients ready to do real work, this is where that work begins.
